Congratulations to Andrew Sears who takes first place in the 36th NTMA/NIMS (National Tooling & Machining Association / National Institution for Metalworking Skills) National Competition. Andrew is one of our own machinists here at Six Sigma.

"The challenge presented in the competion was to measure multiple dimensions of a slot on a machined block to the nearest ten-thousandth of an inch using only a steel rule. Andrew, along with several of the competitors achieved results of less than .0005" total variance for the task."(nyutma.org)
